It’s been three months to the day that Alix Earle dropped footage of herself watching Alex Cooper’s TikTok callout...but still, after promising a response, it’s been crickets. Now fans finally know why. As part of her profile for 2026’s TIME100 Creators, Alix said that her feud with the Call Her Daddy host would be addressed...on her forthcoming Netflix show, Earle Meets World. Sigh.
“It’s something I’m going to talk about on the show,” she said of the fallout. “That was one of the things in the beginning they wanted me to talk about, and I really wasn’t comfortable sharing. Then everything unfolded the way it did while we were filming. There was a serious struggle behind the scenes of emotions, and my family showed up for me. Those moments that sometimes seem so fun for people online, but are hard behind the scenes—I am happy that we were able to capture that.”
If you need a refresher: The Alix vs. Alex feud began in February 2025, when it was revealed that Alix’s Hot Mess podcast was dropped from Alex’s Unwell Network. Soon after, a source told Us Weekly, “They’ve had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell. They clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.”
A lot of passive-aggressive back-and-forth followed, but it wasn’t until April 2026 that Alex acknowledged the drama head-on, telling Alix in a TikTok, “You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.”
To which Alix replied, “Okay on it!”...but then never actually, you know, got on it. Guess we’ll have to wait until Earle Meets World drops later this year to find out more.
BTW: While she wasn’t willing to comment on the Alex Cooper of it all, Alix did finally address whether or not she’s a MAGA supporter. When asked about the rumor by TIME, Alix said, “My senior year of college I was like, ‘I am not a Trump supporter.’ I don’t personally support him. I get a lot of questions about that online still. I just tend to not address it every single time because then I feel like I am creating a massive storm.”
Got it!
