The Victoria Beckham documentary has finally landed on Netflix, offering a look into the life of the former pop star turned fashion mogul, including her marriage to David Beckham and their four children: Brooklyn,26, Romeo, 23, Cruz,20, and Harper, 14.
However, viewers may notice that her eldest son, Brooklyn, is absent from the three-part docuseries.
While Cruz, Romeo, and Harper do appear - with Harper even giving a speech about her mother at the 2024 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards - Brooklyn does not feature in the series. He is only briefly mentioned in the first episode, when Victoria, 51, reflects on her pregnancy with him.
So, why isn't Brooklyn in the documentary?

Why isn't Brooklyn in the Victoria Beckham documentary?
Ahead of the documentary release, it was reported that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, wouldn't appear in the episodes.
"The children hardly feature," a source told The Sun. "It’s simply not a case of Brooklyn and Nicola being cut, as they weren’t in it to start with. This is very much a project focussing on Victoria’s transaction from pop star to businesswoman and designer."
Most of the three-part series was filmed earlier this year in the lead up to Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show in March 2025, which Brooklyn didn't attend due to his own "business commitments" promoting his hot sauce brand.
His absence follows numerous reports that the family is feuding, with Victoria and Nicola's issues reportedly going all the way back to Brooklyn and Nicola's 2022 wedding.
At the time, it was thought that Nicola would wear a gown from Victoria’s fashion line. However, she ultimately opted for a Valentino dress, while Brooklyn wore a custom Dior suit, and Victoria chose an outfit from her own label for the occasion.
Nicola shared what happened in an interview with Variety, saying: "I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress."
There were also claims of a seating snub at the wedding, as only the Peltz family sat at the top table with the bride and groom, while David and Victoria were placed at a separate table. "It really felt as if the Beckhams were not at the forefront," a guest told The Daily Mail.
Nicola and Brooklyn were then joined by the Peltz family on their honeymoon, touring several European cities, however, the Beckham family were nowhere to be seen, despite being on holiday in Croatia around the same time.
Nicola shut down feud rumours in August 2022, however, telling Variety: "They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good."
The feud is said to have been reignited in December 2024 when Romeo started dating DJ Kim Turnball, who TMZ claimed was the ex-girlfriend of Brooklyn. Cruz denied that Brooklyn and Kim had a romantic relationship, however, Kim was previously in a relationship with Madonna and Guy Ritchie's son, Rocco Ritchie, who Brooklyn is friends with, so they've hung out and been in the same circles.
According to TMZ, Brooklyn and Nicola were concerned about Kim's "motives", so were keeping their distance. The same month, they missed David's 50th birthday party.
Romeo and Kim split in June 2025, however, feud rumours are still swirling, with Brooklyn and Nicola not seen pictured with his parents or siblings since Christmas.
Just this month, Victoria posted a carousel of pictures from her Spring/Summer 2026 runway show, one of which was a family picture of her, David, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Another picture included Cruz's girlfriend, songwriter Jackie Apostel, 29.
"Where’s Brooklyn and why’s it that he wants no business whatsoever with his family??? He doesn’t get to support his Moms work anymore? That’s sad as it is," one fan commented.
