George's removal comes after the Big Brother housemate was given several formal warnings about his language, the majority of which was not aired due to going against broadcasting guidelines.

However, one comment which caused George to receive a formal warning was broadcast during the episode aired on Monday night (6 October).

In the episode George was called the diary room by Big Brother, who informed him of his unacceptable language.

Big Brother said: "During a game of Truth or Dare, when asked about your least favourite qualities of other housemates, you said the following, 'Sam, um too…'. You then went on to mimic Sam using both noises that mocked the way Sam talks and body language that included limp wrists.

"Do you understand how both your language and behaviour could be offensive to Sam, your housemates and the viewing public?"

George then replied to Big Brother saying: "We did have a conversation about this, Sam pulled me to one side. I have apologised. I don't want to make anyone feel like that, so I will be walking on eggshells around Sam from here on in."

Before heading into the Big Brother house all contestants are given training on "respect, dignity and inclusion" and told the rules of the house which includes acceptable language and behaviour.

So far George has not commented on his removal from the show.
