We're officially heading to Barry's Bay! The on-screen adaptation of Carley Fortune's novel Every Summer After is finally appearing on our TV screens today on Prime Video and will be known as Every Year After.
Every Year After is an eight-part series that follows Percy Fraser as she returns to the lake she spent her summers at after her best friends' Sam and Charlie's mum dies. The return to her previous summer holiday spot means reuniting with her first love Sam, who is less than happy to see her 10 years on from their last meeting.
The show will see Percy and Sam reunite in the current timeline, while also showing us what happened with the three kids as they grew up together in the past timeline.

Meet the cast of Every Year After
Sadie Soverall as Persephone 'Percy' Fraser
Who is Percy? Percy is the series lead character and in her teenage years, she goes with her parents every summer to a lake house in Barry's Bay, where she meets Sam and Charlie Florek. She strikes up a relationship with Sam when they're young, but something happens before they reach adulthood and when Percy returns for Sam and Charlie's mum's funeral, will their spark be reignited?
What else has Sadie Soverall been in? Sadie is best known for starring in the Netflix series Fate: The Winx Saga where she played Beatrix. She's also appeared in Salt Burn, The Gathering and Finding Emily. The younger version of Percy is played by Juliette Hawk.
Matt Cornett as Sam Florek
Who is Sam? Sam is the younger of the Florek brothers, and when he's a teenager he and Percy get into a relationship. However, by the time they're adults something has gone down between the pair and they're no longer speaking. As an adult he's now a doctor, who has been looking after his mum before her death and also has a new girlfriend.
What else has Matt Cornett been in? Matt is best known for starring in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series where he played EJ. He's also starred in Zombie 3 and Summer of 69. The younger version of Sam is played by Blue Clarke.
Michael Bradway as Charlie Florek
Who is Charlie? Charlie is the older Florek brother and wasn't present as much when his mother was dying, which is leading to resentment between the brothers. He also has a history with Percy, which will make things interesting for her return to Barry's Bay.
What else has Michael Bradway been in? Michael is best known for starring in Chicago Fire where he played the character of Jack Damon. The younger version of Charlie is played by Carson MacCormac.
Aurora Perrineau as Chantal
Who is Chantal? Chantal is Percy's best friend, who gives with her to Barry's Bay for moral support. She's also a lawyer, who recently got engaged but is feeling unsure about it.
What else has Aurora Perrineau been in? Aurora is best known for starring in the Netflix series Kaos as Riddy. She's also starred in Westworld, Prodigal Son, When They See Us and Into The Dark.
Abigail Cowen as Delilah
Who is Delilah? Delilah and Percy used to once be friends when they were younger, but now that they're adults their relationship is complicated. Delilah is married and now lives in Barry's Bay.
What else has Abigail Cowen been in? Abigail also starred in Netflix's Fate: The Winx Saga as Bloom. She's also known for appearing in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as Dorcas and an episode of Stranger Things.
Joseph Chiu as Jordie
Who is Jordie? Jordie was good friends with Sam and Percy while growing up, but he now seems suspicious of Percy's return to town.
What else has Joseph Chiu been in? Joseph is best known for starring in Fear Street: Prom Queen and Motorheads.
Elisha Cuthbert as Sue Florek
Who is Sue? Sue is Charlie and Sam's mum and she owns the bar in town called The Tavern. We only get to see her in the past timeline of the show.
What else has Elisha Cuthbert been in? Elisha is best known for starring in the movie The Girl Next Door and the series 24. She's more recently appeared in The Ranch and Happy Endings.
