Celebrity Race Across the World continues tonight with the second episode and the teams have some decisions to make in a bid to reach the second checkpoint of El Zonte in El Salvador.
They must choose whether to travel through Southern Belize, trek through the mountainous heartland of Guatemala or take the pass less travelled through Honduras.
The new series kicked off on 6th November, with the four celebs and their loved ones attempting the 5,900km race. Anita Rani and her dad Bal were the first to reach the checkpoint, almost a day ahead of the others, while Dylan Llewellyn and his mum Jackie found themselves in last place after spending most of their budget on speedy trains and lots of tacos (fairs).
As the series continues, here's everything you need to know about the Celebrity Race Across the World season three cast.

Relationship: Father and daughter
Television presenter Anita Rani has signed up for Race Across the World, along with her dad Bal. The 47-year-old announced the news on Instagram, saying: "Hi everyone, I can finally reveal to you all that I will be doing Celebrity Race Across the World with my dad! Yeah with my dad! I can't tell you any more than that. You'll have to watch it, but yeah I got to do the dream programme."
Anita has hosted Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4 since 2021, she's also from Bradford and has been a presenter on Countryfile since 2015.
Why did the pair want to take on the challenge?: "I want my dad to have an adventure, and I want to have it with him. So that's it. What a great, amazing way to spend some quality time with my dad and have a life changing experience," Anita revealed before the pair took on the challenge.
Meanwhile Bal shared his beyond heartwarming reason saying, "It's the only time I'm going to get to spend time with my daughter. I haven't had a holiday with her since she was born. It's an opportunity I'll never get again." Sorry, we're sobbing.
As for what they'll miss most while on the road, the pair both said they'll miss having a curry and Anita's mum's cooking.
Our verdict: We reckon Anita Rani could be one to watch on Celebrity Race Across the World, with her adventurous spirit, travel experience, and on-screen charm. She's taking on the race with her dad as well, and their close bond and determination could give them a real edge. They were first to reach the check point in episode one, while retaining a lot of their budget.
At the moment, our money’s on Anita and her dad to go the distance.
Dylan Llewellyn and Jackie

Relationship: Mother and son
Actor Dylan Llewellyn, 33, has officially been confirmed for the new series. He'll take on the 5,900km race with his mum Jackie.
The news was announced on Thursday 18th September on Scott Mills' BBC 2 Radio breakfast show.
"It's like a whole whirlwind of emotions, and so many struggles and challenges. But also, I feel like you grow a lot as a person. I feel like I'm a better person after it," Lewellyn said.
Llellwyn is an actor known for playing Martin "Jono" Johnson in Hollyoaks, James Maguire in Derry Girls, Jack in Big Boys and PC Kelby Hartford in Death in Paradise spin-off, Beyond Paradise.
Why did the pair choose to take on the challenge?: Dylan explained he wanted to take part in Celebrity Race Across The World because, "it’s such an amazing experience to be had. I think it looks so beautiful and cool, and it's just a giant adventure and who wouldn't want to go on one of those? And to do it with my mum is a huge bonus. It's a once in a lifetime thing to do, and to do it with a loved one is even better."
And as for Jackie she wanted to do it as: "In my life, I'm very predictable, like to keep to a routine, safe and everything, and this is really pushing me out of my comfort zone, and I feel, at my age, I should do something like that. I just generally go to destinations for holiday I never have a journey. So it's throwing a different spin on my holiday experience. And also to spend time with Dylan, there's normally in life so many distractions and to have that… I don't think anyone has a relationship where there's no distractions and it's just one to one, and that's going to be magical."
They both said they'll miss the comfort of their own beds while on the road and Dylan said he'll also said he'll miss gaming and sending voicenotes.
Our verdict: Dylan Llewellyn’s easygoing nature and sense of humour could take him far on Race Across the World, but what are his map reading skills like? That said, he has his mum with him and we all know mothers are the backbone of society, so we wouldn't underestimate this duo if we were the other contestants.
Roman Kemp and Harley Moon Kemp

Roman Kemp is one of the celebs confirmed for this year's show. He'll take on the race with his sister Harley Moon.
He announced the news during an episode of The One Show, saying: "So, the news is out: I will be on this series of Celebrity Race Across the World. A pretty amazing thing that we did. It was so incredible. I did it with my wonderful sister Harley Moon and I cannot wait for you to see it. It is incredible. It's coming [in] Autumn on BBC One and iPlayer."
Harley added: "Oh my goodness Race Across the World, the secret is finally out. That was the biggest adventure I could ever have imagined and the hardest challenge. It is not easy when you're watching at home on TV, I'll tell you that. But we had some highs, we had some massive lows."
Speaking to Roman, she continued: "Everyone's gonna see you carrying round your lavender eye mask. And you know as a brother-sister duo, how did we get on? All will be revealed."
Roman Kemp is the son of actor Martin Kemp. He is a podcast host, television and radio presenter, having hosted The One Show and the breakfast show on Capital FM.
Why did the pair take on the challenge?: For Roman, his biggest motivatino in doing the show was being able to share an experience with his sister, telling the BBC: "It's such a privilege to be able to do something so special with your sister. It's such a privilege to be able to have that and to also show that to future generations and to share an experience. The other side of it is for personal reasons, travelling and seeing new places and seeing different cultures or being in certain experiences has such a great impact on my perspective and what life is about."
And for Harley she cited her love of travel and wanting to spend more time with Roman as to why she said yes to the show.
"I already love travelling, so this is very in my wheelhouse. Turning up, don't know where I'm going, that's got my name all over it. I love adventure. I love excitement. I don't like routine. I'm so looking forward to it," she said ahead of recording the show. "But one of the main things for me, was just being able to spend that time with Roman, we haven't lived together since we were 15 years old. So, we obviously love each other, brother and sister, but we don't hang out just us."
For Roman the biggest thing he'll miss will be getting the football results, and Harley is a girl after our own hearts who will miss coffee the most.
Our verdict: Roman appeared on the 2019 season of I'm a Celebrity... and came in third place, so he's not afraid of roughing it, which he might have to do while travelling on the BBC One show. When it comes to the brother and sister team, their strong bond could either see them breeze to the finish line or fall under pressure as tensions run high. We sure hope it's the former.
Molly Rainford and Tyler West

Actress and singer Molly Rainford, 24, and her fiancé, TV and radio presenter Tyler West, 29, have joined Celebrity Race Across the World 2025.
The couple announced the news on Instagram, with Molly saying in a video: "We are the newest team on Celebrity Race Across the World."
Rainford joined EastEnders in 2023, making her debut as the character Anna Knight. The year before she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, where she met Tyler who was also a contestant on the show. As well as this, Molly was a finalist on the sixth season of Britain's Got Talent.
Tyler is a TV and radio presenter, who currently presents on Kiss FM. He competed on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2022 and was eliminated from the show seventh.
Why did the pair sign up for Celebrity Race Across the World?: Molly revealed the pair were looking to get out of their comfort zones by taking part in the series, adding: "We haven't done any kind of travelling like this before. We always stick to our comfort zone, all inclusive, just one location. This will be a new experience."
Tyler added it was also a chance to strengthen their relationship, saying: "It feels like we've been together years and years but to do something like this would take our relationship to the next level and bring us closer together."
Our verdict: Both Molly and Tyler made a strong impression on Strictly - Molly finished as runner-up, while Tyler was eliminated in week nine after losing to her in a dance-off. So, there’s definitely a competitive streak between them. However, Race Across the World is a far cry from the glitz and glamour of the BBC One dancefloor. Let’s see how they handle the grit, the chaos, and the challenge of life on the road.
New episodes of Celebrity Race Across the World airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Thursdays at 8pm.
