As if Married At First Sight UK needed any more drama, three new intruder couples have just joined the experiment and taken things up a notch. Alongside Ryan and Sionainn and Luke and Amy is Stephen and Hannah, who were matched up by a team of relationship experts before meeting on the show. But are the pair still together now?
What's happened for Stephen and Hannah on MAFS UK so far?
MAFS UK is a social experiment which sees participants meet for the first time on their wedding day, after being matched up based on their backgrounds, morals, desires and more. Once they're married (although the experiment is not actually legally binding), the couple head on honeymoon, before moving in together in a bid to make things work in the real world.
Stephen, a 33-year-old medical technology technician from Berkshire, and 33-year-old Hannah, a gym owner from Cheshire, were matched up thanks to their strong family values and interest in health and fitness.
Their chemistry was palpable on their wedding day, with both Hannah and Stephen's interest in each other being clear. But things took a turn on their honeymoon, when Hannah threatened to reveal something that Stephen had told her off-camera, during an on-camera argument.
Then, during their first dinner party, Kristina was asked by the honesty box to reveal who she thought were the least compatible couple, naming Hannah and Stephen. The pair weren't exactly thrilled with the moment, but did admit that they could see why things looked that way to the more established couples.
Are Stephen and Hannah from MAFS UK still together now?
It's hard to know for sure because the MAFS UK cast are under contract to keep things secret until its revealed on the show. But we've done some digging into their social media accounts to try and figure out!
Currently, Stephen and Hannah don't follow each other on social media, but they have been sharing insights into their wedding day and experience on the grid. In fact, Hannah described their "instant connection... as honestly wild & I felt like I could just be my true & authentic high energy self from the second we met and he embraced me with both hands."
On 6th October 2024, Stephen shared a photo of him and Hannah on their wedding day, with the caption, "đ So tonightâs the night I marry a stranger! đ To say it was a wild journey would be an understatement! From the casting process all the way through to being stood at the altar. PLEASE remember, we are REAL people with REAL feelings and emotions, and as youâve seen so far in the process itâs an up and down journey for everyone."
In the comments, someone wrote, "Are you still together? Thatâs what we all wanna know! đ" to which Stephen replied, "Youâll have to wait and see â¤ď¸"
