Miley Cyrus, or should I say, Hannah Montana, once sang (circa 2006) 'you get the best of both worlds' and we now know that she was referring to being both blonde and brunette, ofc! Oh, and she also preached that 'you can change your hair, and you can change your clothes [...] but you'll always find your way back home'. Bear with me here, folks, for it'll all soon make sense...

Just short of 24 hours ago, the pop star attended The Daily Front Row’s seventh annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards in Beverly Hills alongside her "best friend" Bradley Kenneth, who was awarded stylist of the year.

Now, while our congratulations go out to Bradley for his past and present work as a stylist, what stole the show (for an eagle-eyed beauty fanatic) was Miley's hair. I mean, she's only gone and taken us back to her Miley Stewart era by dyeing her locks brunette!

Scroll through the below Instagram carousel post to see said hair transformation:

Her natural waves accompanied by the darker hue are peak Y2K Disney Channel, but with a twist. As shown in the above pics, Miley hasn't taken the full plunge over to the dark side; instead, she's kept some blonde highlights, making for a skunk-like take on the Gemini hair trend. Aka, a two-toned dye job.

Simply stunning.

Everyone's clicking on...

And we're not alone in our doting thoughts for fans have taken to Twitter to share their love for Miley's new look. Read a select few tweets below:

As one tweet so accurately reads: "Miley Cyrus is brunette again… the world is healed". Need I go on?
