After Daisy Jones & the Six shot onto our screens this spring, we all became suitably obsessed with the likes of Billy, Camila, Daisy, Karen and more.
The series, based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s best-selling book, follows a fictional 1970s rock band – loosely based on Fleetwood Mac – at the height of their fame and the drama that follows.
The first season was a mega success, and many fans have been left eager to find out if there will be a second season. So, this is everything we know so far about season two of Daisy Jones & the Six.
Has season 2 of Daisy Jones and the Six been confirmed?
In short, no. A second season of Daisy Jones & the Six has not been confirmed and as Taylor Jenkins Reid only wrote one book about the story and its characters, there isn’t much source material left to work with. The first series was also original tipped as a limited series, which suggests they created it with no intention of further episodes.
But with all that said, writer Scott Neustadter and executive producer Lauren Neustadter did tease the possibility for a second season, in an interview with Variety in August 2023.
"If any time Amazon came to us and said, 'What would it be?', we would put our little thinking caps on about it," she teased. Scott added: "It's super fun to sit and talk to Taylor [Jenkins Read, the novel's author] for hours about where we think we could take this next. It was a calculated move to move [the flash forwards] to their 40s. There's a lot of life left to live, so there could be a future."
So a second series could stray from the book and add new storylines for the cast. Give it to us!

The band quickly rise to worldwide fame and success but, after a huge sold-out show, they suddenly break up. Now, years later, the band members finally sit down on record to reveal the truth of why they called it quits at the height of their fame.

Who might star in Daisy Jones & The Six season 2?
While season 2 hasn't been confirmed yet, it's hard to see it happening without the lead cast from the original limited series. That includes Riley Keough, who is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, as leading lady Daisy Jones.
We'd also hope to see Sam Claflin back as Billy Dunne, Camila Morrone as Camila Dunne, Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko, Will Harrison as Graham Dunne, Josh Whitehouse as Eddie Roundtree and Sebastian Chacon as Warren Rhodes.
