Thanks to the inescapable stardom of Hollywood (read: the paparazzi), we've seen many a celebrity rock a disguise. As Cheryl once said: "Slowly but surely you start to realise that I can't nip to the garage in my pyjamas for a pint of milk even if I wanted to." From Paris Hilton to Harry Styles, the creativity of said disguise is reaching new heights and today, Vanessa Hudgens has proven just how unrecognisable one can get... with the help of a lil hair transformation.
Over on Instagram, the actor shared a selfie to her Story and at first glance, looks like a totally different person. As shown below, Vanessa is donning a peroxide blonde wig, styled at lob (long bob) length and complete with a fringe. In other words, it couldn't be any more different to her trademark brunette curls.
"Mercury's in retrograde and I'm wiggin [sic] out 😉🫠," she wrote to caption the image.
Now, as she states, this transformation comes via a wig, so, before you go and make like Vanessa by bleaching your locks, why not experiment first?!
That said, if Vanessa already has you convinced on joining the lighter-hair brigade (after all, summer is right around the corner), then we advise swatting up on how to minimise damage and maintain its colour – because you best believe blonde hair requires a lot of upkeep!
As celebrity hair colourist, Tracey Cunningham, whose clients include the likes of JLo, Charlize Theron and Khloé Kardashian, says: "There's no doubt about it, going blonde can cause potential damage." Read more, here.
