As I'm sure we are all aware, today is Golden Globes day. Hurrah, hurrah! And while the celebrity pap snaps have swarmed our timelines, there's one hair transformation from the weekend that nearly went amiss. Enter: Angelina Jolie's side-sweeping fringe... *Gasp!*
Last Friday night [January 3, 2025], Angelina attended the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards in Palm Springs, California. This was her first public appearance that came just days after she and Brad Pitt reached a long-awaited settlement in their divorce.
Of course, for such a coveted event, the actor decided to go for the chop, cutting a fringe into her long highlighted hair. As shown below, her short, eyebrow grazing lengths have been styled to the side, making for a sweeping bangs moment.
Now, while we think she looks like a totally different person with this haircut, there's no denying that it is a tad reminiscent of her 90s Girl, Interrupted 'do. Hi, hello blonde bangs!
On the night, Angelina was honoured with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for 'Best Actress' for her role in Maria and paid tribute to her six children during her acceptance speech.
"There was Maria and there was Callas; Callas was loved, but Maria was often alone," she said, referring to her role as renowned opera singer Maria Callas in the Netflix biopic.

"But I'm around today because when I walk off this stage, I am more myself because of you, Zahara, and your brothers and sisters. I love you," she added of her children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
