Never did I ever think I'd see Cara Delevingne looking like Elton John with a receding comb over, 70s sunglasses and unmissably thick sideburns. But alas, here we are. Let's step into Christmas with this transformation, folks...

Over 50 years after Elton's iconic release of 'Step into Christmas', the music legend has reimagined the track's original video with a 2024 version starring Cara Delevingne. As shown below, the model wears oversized colour-tinted glasses and a quilted jacket but more importantly, a shocking retro hairstyle, all of which contribute to a striking, uncanny and hilarious Elton resemblance.

The pair collaboratively posted a snippet of the video on Instagram with Elton sharing his thoughts on Cara's casting. "When someone suggested the idea of her playing me in a riff on the 1973 Step Into Christmas video, I just thought it was the perfect opportunity. Thank God Cara thought the same because it came out great," he wrote in the caption of the reel.

It seems fans are loving the project, too, and are sharing their thoughts in the comments section of the post. Read a select few of our favourites, below:
