Fringe haircuts seem to be all the rage RN because following Jennifer Lawrence's nostalgic chop and Cara Delevingne's micro interpretation of the look comes Bella Hadid, with her new eyebrow grazing 'do. And it's one that draws uncanny similarities to Cher's iconic style circa 1967! There's a bang for everyone, it seems... wink, nudge.
Earlier this week, Bella flew over to Dubai to attend the jewellery brand, Chopard's new Ice Cube collection launch. For such a luxury event, the model went above and beyond, stepping out wearing a bedazzled floor-length gown. Arguably, however, it wasn't her fashions – albeit, fabulous – that had heads turning but instead, her fresh fringe haircut.
Bella's makeup artist for the occasion, Nadia Tayeh, shared a video reel on Instagram revealing her new look. "My habibty @bellahadid in Dubai for @chopard Ice Cube collection 😍💎✨," she wrote to caption her post, before revealing the genius behind Bella's new cut, hairstylist Syd Hayes.
The piece-y yet full fringe is one that is commonly referred to as 'peekaboo bangs'; it's one of the most popular styles of the moment and is defined by a textured, choppy and layered style that allows some of the forehead to peek through.
This very look is one that the legend, Cher rocked way back in the 1960s. So, with Bella's recent trim, paired with her long dark tresses, we think she looks just like the singer from 60 years ago.
Not convinced? Well, just take a look at the following picture of Cher taken May 19, 1967 from her appearance on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour TV show.
Everyone's clicking on...
Resemblance = uncanny.
