While it won't keep you (read: your forehead) warm this winter season, the itsy bitsy micro fringe is set to be a 2024 Christmas hair trend. The latest celebrity to prove so? Why, it's top model-turned-rising actor Cara Delevingne, of course.
Over the weekend [November 2], Cara attended the coveted 2024 LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles, California. For such an event, the star went above and beyond in both the fashion and beauty departments, wearing a floor-length backless gown. More notably, however, came her brand new haircut, which features the shortest micro fringe we've ever seen! (Oh and FYI, that's 'bangs' for the American folk among us.)
As shown below, Cara has had a one-two-inch fringe cut straight across her forehead.
Paired with a chic and easy-to-achieve updo, the look is the epitome of Audrey Hepburn hair. After all, this was the legendary actor's iconic 'do circa 1954.
Simply stunning.
In recent months, we've seen a number of our favourite celebs commit to shorter lengths; Kelly Rowland debuted a tiny micro bob at a Kamala Harris rally while Ariana Grande embraced her side-sweeping baby bangs and Sarah Michelle Gellar underwent a Jane Birkin-inspired cut.
So, with those transformations in mind, could the itsy bitsy haircut – and more specifically, the micro fringe – dominate the winter 2024 season? We think so...Follow Lia on Instagram.
