Social media star Matilda Djerf rose to fame not only for her effortlessly chic Scandinavian fashions but for her trademark bombshell blowout, too – I mean, the TikTok hashtag #MatildaDjerfHair currently has over 75 million views on the app alone... But now, the latter is no more for she's only gone and cut off her lengths in replacement for a short bob. Happy hair transformation Thursday, folks!

The 27-year-old content creator took to Instagram overnight with a three-part carousel post. Glazing over the obvious, Matilda wrote in the caption: "Countryside 2024 🍂🐎 @djerfavenue 🤎 Ad." However, fans were quick to pick up on the dramatic cut, taking to the comments section to address her new look.

"The hair Matilda!!!!" one fan wrote, with a second commenting "did you just soft launch a bob??," and a third adding "this is your sign to cut your hair!! 🤎."

As shown, Matilda is now sporting a sleek yet bouncy shoulder-length cut with the ends of her hair holding an effortless 90s flick. Voluminous yet tamed, in equal parts.

Your bouncy bob tool kit

Having said all that, it's worth noting, that this look may, in fact, be a wig – there's no telling just yet seeing as the hat could be masking the disguise. So, if you are looking to follow in Matilda's footsteps and recreate her new 'do, proceed at your own risk... though, if in doubt, look to Victoria Beckham's fresh cut for reassurance.

The bob brigade is ever-evolving!
