She's 30, flirty and thriving; Maya Jama just celebrated her milestone birthday and with this, there came a major hair transformation, too. But before you pull out those kitchen scissors to replicate the following with an at-home DIY job, allow me to preface with some context...
Just short of 24 hours ago [August 15, 2024], the Love Island host took to Instagram to share a 15-part (!!) carousel post with images from her birthday party. Of course, Maya turned up and out in the fashion department, wearing a halterneck black mini-dress with gold embellished details, however, it was the beauty look (and more specifically, her hairdo) that had us hooked at first glance.
Switching up her signature raven tresses, the presenter had a full fringe cut into her locks, framing her face and the entire look.
Not only is this style stunning but it's a health and wealth signaller, too. In other words, a new season (or in Maya's case, new era) haircut is always welcome to maintain the health of your strands.
Now, having said all that, due to Maya's previous fleeting hairstyles, we must speculate that these bangs may have been achieved not via a cut but a clip-in hair extension piece. After all, she did rock a similar look last July, which turned out to be just that.
It gives all of the drama, minus the commitment. Which, IMO, is the perfect combination – in all circumstances, may I add.
