Earlier this month Cosmo UK speculated (admittedly, wrongly... but hey, our spidey senses were clearly tingling) that Lily Collins had cut her hair into a bob. And now, just short of a few weeks later, she's only gone and committed to the chop in question with a classic interpretation of the style. Clearly, Raven-Symoné's got nothing on our psychic abilities.
Lily attended the World Premiere of A24's upcoming movie, MAXXXINE just last night [June 24, 2024] where she debuted the new cut. Elsewhere, Gregory Russell, the actor's hairstylist and the genius behind her new look, took to social media to share his very own pictures of the transformation.
She's gone from having somewhat long, flowing locks (read: just below chest length) to an uber-short lifted look. See the below Instagram post that Lily shared just a few days ago to compare.
As shown, when styled straight, Lily's lengths now sit perfectly on the nape of her neck with the ends naturally flicking straight towards her face. Although not a trending French bob nor her sassy little sister, the 'petit bob', this blunt cut is a classic haircut and as Taylor Swift would say, one that never goes out of style.
So, if you've been seeking summer 2024 hair inspiration, look no further because the shorter your tresses, the less suffocated you will feel in the unpredictable British sun. Plus, it's super cute but hey, that was a given!
