Dua Lipa – or as I like to call her, Dula Peep – is living proof that celebrity hair transformations will never tire. Beauty fatigue? We don't know her and that's because the singer's most recent makeover is, arguably, one of her best. Enter: The 70s shag.

After a long stretch of rocking her infamous brunette bob, Dua then entered blonde territory to which evolved into a range of hair colour experimentations. Most recently, the star settled in with the redheads, opting for her newfound signature, crimson waves. You keeping up? Well, forget all of that because now, Dua has brought us back to the drawing board with a shorter, shaggier, darker haircut that'll inspire your next trim.

Donning the cover of Beauty Papers magazine's new issue, Dua looks pretty much unrecognisable with a very rock 'n' roll hair look. And it's one that was complete with a punk makeup look (read: heaps of eye-disguising black liner).

Professional hairstylist Malcolm Edwards was the genius behind the 'do, fitting – what we're assuming to be – Dua's textured and layered wig so immaculately that it masks all trace of her long red locks.

To no surprise, friends, fans and followers of Dua took to the comments section of her Instagram post shag debut to share their thoughts. Read a select few of our faves, below:

"this hair on her oh my god"
"LOVE this hair"
"this photoshoot just ATE"
"The girl who keeps on GIVING 🔥"
"Diva Lipa"
"Mother is now dark mistress of night <3"
"Joan Jett flavour"

It truly is giving Joan Jett vibes circa 1981. So, say sing it with me now: I Love Rock 'n' Roll (and Dua's disco funk shag hairstyle)!
