Oh, I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair; in 99 and 24, revolution was in the air... and that's all thanks to Gwen Stefani's cycle of jaw-droppingly good beauty looks.

OK, obscure Sandi Thom lyric references aside, throughout her years in the limelight, Gwen Stefani really has provided an abundance of hairstyles to channel the punk rock revolution. From *that* 90s fluorescent pink lob to her ecent baby braids cluster, nothing is off limits when it comes to experimenting with the singer's locks – and today's 'do is no exception, being a hair evolution to note.

In her latest Instagram post, Gwen shared a video rehearsing with her fellow No Doubt band members for their upcoming Coachella appearance and 'tis the reunion we never knew we needed!

However, as excited as we were to receive a sneak peek of the group's performance, it was actually Gwen's fauxhawk hairstyle that had us ooh'ing and ahh'ing (read: screaming 'rock on!').

It's giving punk rock chic meets cockatoo bird, but ofc, in the best way possible.

To create said faux mohican, the 'Hollaback Girl' singer parted her blonde locks into two sections to make a duo of buns; one sits at the top and centre of her head, with the other a little lower down. And not only that but the ends of her hair have been left out of each bun, giving the look an effortless, spikey and punk rock finish. Simply, 🤘.

Everyone's clicking on...

Would you dare to recreate this iconic hairstyle? You best believe I will come festival szn!
