This is not a drill (nor is it a wig) for Megan Fox has dyed her locks a striking smoky blue colour... Oh, and she's cut her hair, too, making for the shortest style she's ever had. I repeat, this is not a drill!

In a recently shared Instagram post, Meg's longtime friend and hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos – whose clientele also includes the likes of Camila Cabello, Eva Longoria and Joey King, to name a few – shared a five-part carousel post to debut the actor's new look.

Scroll through the below pictures to see the before vs after looks and how Megan went from having baby pink chest-length waves to an extra short chin-length blue bob. Try saying that twice as fast...

"Blue Jeans," Dimitris aptly captions his post, along with some very coveted product information.

On Meg's tresses, Dimitiris shares that he used the L'Oreal Paris Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Permanent Hair Color, 411 Sapphire Smoke, which, unfortunately for we Brits, is currently unavailable in the UK. Boo!

However, all is not lost as the brand does offer an equivalent with the L'Oreal Paris Preference Vivids Permanent Hair Dye, Intense Luminous Colour, Silver Grey 10.11.

Though, do note that if you're going to make like Meg, there is a maintenance fee to pay. In other words, lighter colours as such will eventually fade on the hair and therefore, do require maintenance via a redye every now and then.

But hey, what better time to do so than now? 'Tis spring, aka the season of all things pastel colours!
