Throughout her spotlight time in the Hollywood film industry, Anne Hathaway has played many a' character – my personal fave being Andy Sachs, duh (yes, I can – but shan't – wax lyrical about magazine-based movies). However, while we've been provided with a plethora of personalities, what we lack is a difference in hair look. Though, I suppose we can't argue with the fact that Anne is a brunette babe through and through.

That is until today when we've been provided with a hair transformation like no other. Enter: Anne with a bouffant 60s bob, that is also peroxide blonde, no less!

Said look arrived via the brand new trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller film, Eileen – in which Anne stars as a prison psychologist. To promote the "Christmas Love Story," as she sarcastically puts it in the caption of her post, the actor shared a snippet of the trailer on her very own Instagram feed.

Enthralled by the plot? Us too, closely followed by an infatuation with the hair look that Anne is seen to be sporting.

As shown, the star's trademark mocha-toned locks are nowhere to be seen and instead, her hair has been styled in a chin-length 60s 'do. The inverted curled ends and voluminous body of hair are a signature style of the Swinging Sixties.

Now, as much as we'd like to believe this is a new hairstyle for Anne, seeing as this movie would have been shot and in production months, if not years ago, it's only plausible to assume that she is wearing a wig.

Whether the wig is friend or faux (see what I did there), she (read: the hairstyle) is a star in her own right. Give it up for the blonde bouffant, folks... and Anne, too, ofc.
