Lady Gaga entering her rock 'n' roll era certainly wasn't on my Friday morning bingo card but you best believe I ain't complaining. *Throws up index and little fingers in a sign of salute and solidarity π€*
In an unexpected (yet very much appreciated) collaboration, last night Lady Gaga took to the stage alongside Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones in celebration of the band's newly released album, 'Hackney Diamonds'. And of course, while the duo turned up and out, it was Gaga's fresh trim that stole the spotlight... for me, anyway.
Intrigued? Well, said trim is a very punk rock shaggy wolf haircut β aka, a combination of the shag and wolf styles. Just see for yourselves below:
Who is she?! Cue *all* the heart-eye emojis imaginable.
As shown with the above two pap snaps, the singer's once long blonde locks have had a few inches chopped off of the ends, as well as having some fluffy layers and a piecey fringe added. This makes for the perfect shag x wolf style, even if we do say so ourselves.
For context (and in case you, too, want to make like Gaga), a shag haircut entails choppy ends, layers around the crown and lots and lots of texture, whereas a wolf cut combines the best of the shag with the bangs of a mullet.
Everyone's clicking on...
Baso, just show your hairdresser Gaga's pics as a reference and you'll have the look nailed!
As I like to think of it, we're paying homage to the 80s. Whoever said beauty had no meaning, ey?
