There have been many trendy haircuts going around lately; from mushroom bobs to full fringes, but the latest to sweep us off our feet (or off our faces in this case) is the return of the 70s-inspired curtain bangs. For those on TikTok, we're talking about 'McDonald's bangs' (they're an 'M' shape, get it?). Anyway, we're not here to talk about Ronald, we're here to talk about Kate Middleton, who has been spotted with the fluffiest curtain bangs we've possibly ever seen. I never thought I'd say Kate Middleton and Ronald McDonald in the same sentence, but here we are.
Although the new 'do was debuted last week, it seems there's been more of a colour change than we previously suspected. New pics have since come out and it looks like Kate has switched up her cool-toned brunette shade for a warmer chestnut one. Ah, I can smell the pumpkin spice latte scent of autumn just looking at this hair colour.
Here's the more recent look compared with pictures that were taken last week:
Sure, it could be a trick of the light but either way, we're loving this more reddish tone on her.
The recent subtle haircut involves shorter, face-framing pieces at the front, whilst keeping hair long and wavy at the back. By design, it adds some real oomph to roots, so if you struggle to pump some volume into your hair, this cut will work wonders, hence why it's become so popular.
Let's take another look at these tumbling waves, shall we? I mean, you could surf on those waves they're so voluminous.
Kate is the queen (well, not quite yet) of making subtle changes to her hair that make a world of difference, and this new 'do is no exception.
