In today's breaking beauty news, Nicole Scherzinger just cut off her trademark hip-skimming raven tresses and instead, got a shaggy wet bob. And no, I promise you, neither the haircut nor headline(!!) are clickbait...

Dimitris Giannetos – aka, hairstylist to the stars, including Megan Fox, Camila Cabello and Jennifer Lopez – first sounded the hair transformation alarm by sharing Nicole's new do in a two-part carousel post on Instagram.

"NICOLE 🔥 Fresh ✂️ for @nicolescherzinger in a wet shag by urs truly," Dimitris writes to caption his pics.

Sidenote: If I was to try pull this look, it'd be giving more 'sitting soaking wet in a towel scrolling TikTok on my phone hours after my shower' vibe.

Now, at first glance, you may think that this chop is perhaps a wig; after all, it's not the first time we would've seen Nic experiment with a temporary hair transformation. The scissor emoji that accompanies the post though leads us to believe the singer has committed to the chop.

So, for now, we're going to believe that Scherzy is in her shoulder-length bob and choppy fringe era. Not to mention the chic fresh-out-the-shower shaggy curls. It's a go-to that will never miss.

Everyone's clicking on...

I mean, I think we can all agree that alongside Kim Kardashian's recently acquired chin-length chop and Florence Pugh's revolving door of rainbow buzzcuts, this is *thee* hair transformation of the year.

I don't make the rules, Nic does.
