Is Sydney Sweeney pulling that princess Diana trick where she cuts her hair one cm at a time so it doesn't cause a media frenzy? Because she just shared a choppy wavy style to her instagram stories and it's basically a lob.

When did this happen?

It's weird seeing her without her long blonde Barbie tresses, but she looks chic AF with the new shorter length; very fitting considering she was leaving Paris. There were no pics on her 'gram of the new short length, but a quick scout of pap shots and we found this from the Giorgio Armani haute couture fall winter show just a day ago. Ok cutie, we see you.

It's a considerable snip since this carpet appearance just a month ago. Whether it's all chop or a combination of extensions coming out too, it's a pretty drastic change-up. Our favourite kind.

Further investigation on her Insta found these in-between length snaps while on holiday, either confirmation she's doing the Princess Di gradual snip or that sunning it up was the cause for her taking out any extensions, later followed by a cut. Probably the latter.

But wearing it shorter obviously inspired this further trim into this snazzy blunter shoulder-length 'do and we are not complaining.

Next up, a bob perhaps? It would be truly revolutionary from the Gen Z Barbiecore hero, so we'll keep our eyes peeled to see if she's caught the snipping bug, and report back any further developments.
