It's odd to think that as well as 'Rihanna red' (AKA, the hair hue that had everyone in a chokehold circa 2010), Ms Robyn Fenty was no stranger to blonde; from bronde balayage to full heads of platinum. She's been so consistently dark haired these past few years, that when I saw a slither of blonde in her raven tresses I practically leapt out of my seat.

She was attending Pharrell Williams first show as creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear during Paris Fashion Week, having recently fronted a campaign for the brand with *those* incredible bump pics. Apart from totally stealing the show in matching mommy and daddy bump fits with A$AP, it was her glam that caught my attention.

In an image shared by hair stylist Naphia White (naphiisbeautifulhair), Riri has what appears to be one singular strand of dark blonde running through her tresses.

Now naysayers *cough – our beauty assistant Lia – cough* will say it's the light, that would be some trick of the light. It's just such a contrast to the rest of her hair. And also, I want the excitement of Rihanna starting a one highlight trend. Move over money piece highlights.

I do have to concede, however, that dying your hair is not recommended during pregnancy... but it could be clipped in?

The glam shot is the only real chance to look at it, seeing as she wore a hat to the show. Conveniently allowing me to live in my truth that Rihanna has one blonde highlight.
