When I first glimpsed snaps of Jennifer Lopez's glam for the The Flash premiere on my Insta feed, I saw classic, slicked back hair and suspected an understated low bun. Swiping along to the next slide however, I could see this was a ponytail, but was still thinking we had a simple classic hairstyle here.
Boy-o-boy I was mistaken, and it was a mirrored lift, yes a lift (or an elevator for my international comrades), that alerted me to the truth.
Looking into the reflection on that super fancy golden lift, it was clear this was no simple ponytail. The long, swishy updo was as slick through the lengths as on the head, and sailed all the way down her back not a hair out of place. It's very business in the front... goddess at the back.
We still couldn't get a full look at the 'do though, so we obvs headed over to the page of the hair stylist behind the look, Jesus Guerrero, and saw how beautifully the swept back hair worked with her full beat. But still we were counting on that lift to see the 360 of the style.
It wasn't until looking at the red carpet snaps that we got what we were looking for, thank you hair gods. While there aren't often photos of the back of celebs heads on red carpets, or them looking away, a simple act of PDA provided the goods.
As Jen gave husband Ben Affleck a smooch we could really see that XL look in all it's glory, sailing past her elbows and it showed off her melting from a biscuity hue to a soft sandy gold.
Everyone's clicking on...
All hail snoggin'.
