If you've not been scrolling through BeautyTok as of late, you may have missed the hair trend taking the app by storm. And by storm, I mean a 27 million (plus) views type typhoon. Oh, how one app can perfectly capture the zeitgeist of the 21st-century, tech-driven social sphere is beyond me.
Forward-thinking aside, one celebrity who has jumped onto this social media trend – that being the Scandi (aka, Scandinavian) hairline trick – is Millie Bobby Brown. But are we surprised? I think not. *Cough* She is Gen Z *cough*.
She rocks the look in her recent Instagram video reel, showing off her summer "cheeky pop moment". Take a look at said hair colouring technique below:
Side note: She applies her very own Cheeky Pop Blush Stick in the shade 'my mimi'.
Last month, the actor first debuted said hair colour with a selfie via her very own beauty brand, florence by mills' IG Story. She was shown to be rocking her natural brunette hair colour but with subtly added blonde money piece highlights. As we can see below, the strands ever so effortlessly framed her face.
This halo for your face, if you will, is a hair-lightening technique that brings brightness to one's complexion and per its namesake, is often one you would see the trendy Scandi-girl sporting.
Everyone's clicking on...
It's the perfect 'do for a natural summer 2023 look and one that we're saving in our metaphorical hair-spo files. Sunkissed hair and the unpredictable UK climes wait for no one.
