Priyanka Chopra Jonas is known for her long, flowing dark tresses, but just debuted a new short and choppy style we'd know anywhere. The iconic 'The Rachel' haircut, named after Rachel Green from Friends, has been popping up over the last few years (to be expected with all the 90s and 00s comebacks). But as shaggy wolf cuts and choppy bobs began to dominate in late 2022, with no signs of slowing down in 2023, expect to see a lot more of it.

Priyanka's new short 'do shows off her natural hair length with no extensions. Hairstylist Bridget Brager framed the face with the same kind of bouncy shoulder-skimming layers that had every girl grasping pages of the Jennifer Aniston filled weeklies on their way to the hairdressers during peak Friends mania. Of course, the look wouldn't be complete without 00s streaky honey blonde highlights, too.

It's not the first peek we got at short-haired Priyanka. The new mum posted a couple of days before with her hair worn in its natural waves, giving the length a choppy, tousled bob style. The low-maintenance length is giving 'cool mom' in the family snap with husband Nick Jonas and their baby Malti Marie, who was born via surrogate last summer.

The Rachel haircut is a glam switch up for the short length, styled for an afternoon with Bulgari, and naturally needed makeup glam to match. Mary Phillips, the creator of the 'backwards makeup' trend, did the honours. Mary painted Priyanka's face with a soft nude eye, long wispy lashes, and a delicious amount of pink blush. Finishing with a lip colour I'm convinced is a nod to Rachel Green's iconic MAC Paramount hue of a rust-raisin neutral.
