Ever heard of mullet bangs? No? Me neither. Though, that was until roughly 20 minutes ago, when I shared Lily Collins' latest red carpet look with the work group chat and the name was floated. Just your average Wednesday morning with team Cosmo Beauty. The hairstyle bank is never ending, trust me.

But before I start waxing lyrical about said mullet bangs and its many iterations, allow me to provide you with some context. Just last night, an exciting event took place in Paris – yep, you guessed it. It was Netflix's Emily In Paris season 3 world premiere. The show's actors, including Kate Walsh, Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Marylin Fitoussi, Ashley Park and Camille Razat were all in attendance alongside the star herself, Lily.

Now, while they all looked as glam as ever (shoutout to Ashley's golden glitter ball gown), arguably, Lily stole the show by debuting a brand new hair look. And yes, this is the third* new style of hers we've received in the last 30 days.

*Or is it the fourth? Not that I'm counting...

As shown, Lily has opted for a fresh blunt cut for the premiere. Layers, who? Though having said that, she has gone for her own interpretation of the classic face-framing style and it's one we like to call: mullet bangs.

Instead of a gradient cut, Lily's hairstylist has chopped longer strands just above chin length, which also accompany her classic blunt fringe. IMO, it's giving 60s mod mullet vibes, wouldn't you agree?

Sadly, the genius behind the new look is yet to be named, however, what we do know is that Lily is an ambassador for our go-to hair brand, Living Proof. So, we'd place our bets there for where she's heading for aftercare. Happy shopping!
