Wet-look hair is not a new style, by any means. I, in fact, sport it nearly every single day after my shower. However, when it comes to celebrities and their take on the look, most put a chic (read: wearable) twist on the hairstyle. We've seen many including Megan Fox, Kourtney Kardashian and Florence Pugh all red carpet ready but now, bringing the style to the 'Gram is High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens.
The actor took to her main Instagram feed to share a four-part carousel post debuting the look. Not to mention that she is posing in a very fitting wet-look two-piece gym set. Clearly, October showers are nothing V can't handle.
As shown below, we can see that Vanessa's locks have been styled wet and tousled, holding a soft natural curl. In terms of the length, we aren't entirely certain as to whether she's had a chop or not, but it seems to be sitting within the realms of the 'lob' style. Oh, and that translates to a long bob, FYI.
When it comes to previous wet-look hairstyles, we've seen everything from more tamed, suave 'dos to XXL lengths but Vanessa's is giving more of an effortless vibe. Though, truth be told, we predict plenty of effort and hair product went into creating this masterpiece.
As for the makeup, keeping with the workout theme, Vanessa has opted for a neutral glam beat. Vanessa's eyes have been kept very minimal with a focus on her fluffy lashes, along with a flawless yet contoured based. To finish the look, she has topped it off with a creamy nude lip.
Perhaps with a little help and some styling cream I, too, could pull this off... gah, who am I kidding, down and dry it is!
