We're now in October so what better way to embrace the autumn season and its chillier climes than with a hair change? Specifically a red colour change, seeing as it is trending and all. But don't just take my word for it; instead, just take a look at Pam & Tommy star, Lily James' new 'do as she is the latest celebrity to join the red-haired clan. Aka myself and Shay Mitchell.
Giving us all that needs to be given (read: 10/10 hairspo), Lily's hairstylist Halley Brisker, whose clientele also includes Bridgerton stars Simone Ashley and Nicola Coughlan, took to Instagram to share the look. As we can see below, the colour is not as vibrant as Shay's fiery red but instead, it has more of a copper and orange undertone.
And not only that but following in Megan Fox, Kim Kardashian and Nicole Scherzinger's footsteps, Lily has opted to blend the colour naturally with a dark shadow root. Uhhh, guys, I may need some help over here because I just dropped a load 'a names...
In terms of style, Halley went all out seeing as Lily was in attendance at the British Film Institute London Film Festival Luminous Gala red carpet. Now that's a mouthful. He has chosen to go with the classic undone updo, leaving two thick face-framing strands of hair down at the front.
To embrace her new colour, let's reminisce on Lily's previous look. Here is a snap of the actor's super dark locks back in summer.
Praise be the brave soul who lightened Lily's locks because boy, that couldn't have been easy – lightening black hair is no simple task. Clearly, though, it paid off!
