Amongst many of her onscreen co-stars (Phoebe Dynevor and Charithra Chandran, we're looking at you), Netflix actor Simone Ashley has established herself as a major trendsetter in the beauty industry. Kar-Jenners, watch out for the Bridgerton-Sharma fam are coming for your crown.
Last season saw Simone paving the way for some of the summer's biggest hair looks. She gave us everything from baby braids and mermaid waves to the sleek ponytail that TikTok loves so much. Now, Simone has added to her already impressive resumé of hairstyles with a look that has shot up to become an all-time favourite: edgy waves.
The star's go-to hairstylist, Halley Brisker, took to Instagram to share Simone's latest 'do. In the caption of the post, he wrote: 'Little bitta rock 'n' roll for Simone'.
It's giving 🤘-meets-🎸. So, I suppose the only song to play in a time like this is I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker by Sandi Thom. Or perhaps, more appropriately, some Elvis Presley? But I digress...
Swooped over in a side part (another win for the Millennials), Halley added some natural-looking soft curls into Simone's shoulder-length locks. For the low-down on what hair tool we recommend using to recreate this look, read up on our *very in-depth* decoded curling tongs.
Hair aside, Simone's MUA, Alex Babsky tagged the Bridgerton Instagram page and with some cryptic hashtags, wrote in the caption of his post: "#simoneashley #inthemakeupchair #bts #bridgerton #bridgertonedit #katesharma #katesharmaedit". So, could this be a behind-the-scenes look for season 3 of the show? I guess only time will tell!
Everyone's clicking on...
Now, seeing as we're transitioning into autumn, this effortless look is one that we totally can rock (no pun intended) for those days on-set. Or rather, in the office... oh to be a world-famous acting star *sigh*.
