Feel-good films, rom-coms and drama-filled series' may be all well and good every now and then, but here at Cosmo UK our favourite genre has to be, well, the ones that are set in fashion magazines (duh!) There's The Bold Type, The Devil Wears Prada and of course, the 2003 classic starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.

Now, despite being released almost two decades ago (uhhh where did that time go?!), it appears as though the latter, is still very prevalent in all of our lives – or perhaps that's just Kate and me? And how do we know that? Well, the actor, Andie Anderson... I mean, Kate* is still just as obsessed as we are, seeing as she recently cut her hair into a style that is very reminiscent of the 00s era and her character in the film.

Kate took to her Instagram feed to share a video reel where she debuted her brand new look: the iconic side fringe. Take a look below:

Side note: How good does that Orange Campari Vodka Sour look?!

Of course, for old time's sake, let's compare her new 'do to the look she rocked in the film:

Pretty similar, me thinks.

Everyone's clicking on...

And it's not just Kate who is bringing back Y2K-meets-90s beauty. Kylie Jenner recently sported chunky red highlights, Rihanna got a blunt, school-like look and Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian and Billie Eilish have all, too, made their take on the side fringe well-known.

So, I guess let's take this as a sign to try something new. As the old saying goes: new season, new hair... right?!
