Ever since that big TikTok debate, Gen Z and Millennials have been battling it out over which hairstyle is trendier: the middle parting or the side-parting, respectively. Or, you might be neutral and rock both looks from time to time β I know I do.
One celebrity showing us that she can, in fact, do both (and do them both well) is none other than Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan. The actor wore a hairstyle which actually reminded us a lot of her role as Cady Heron back in 2014.
For old times' sake, here's a look at Lindsay/Cady's hair from the movie:
And below is said recent hairstyle that Lindsay shared in an Instagram selfie β and no, she wasn't wearing pink, sadly:
Very reminiscent of our favourite North Shore High student, wouldn't you say? And when we say favourite, we mean after Janis Ian and Damian Leigh, of course.
In the recently snap, Lindsay's red locks have been styled in a deep side-parting. She's also rocking a face-defining fringe that's serving serious 00s vibes. Forget Mean Girls, is anyone else suddenly remembering MySpace 'scene' era flashbacks? But in the best way possible, ofc. Plus, can we take a moment for the coral lip and cheek combo? Stunning.
Everyone's clicking on...
So, with Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox and Dua Lipa all wearing the deep side part, too, it would seem that this would be yet another win for the Millennials...
