As of just a few days ago, Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 is now available to stream (hallelujah!) and whilst 'Running Up That Hill' by Kate Bush is still running on repeat in our minds (sorry, not sorry), we may have another contender for the most memorable moment of the szn. And that would be the newly released promotional campaign images where Millie is channeling a modern day vibe of a classic 80s look. It's just divine, really.

In the series, we've seen MBB sport a number of hair looks that we just cannot get over – from her 80s Billy Ray Cyrus-inspired mullet to the iconic Eleven shaved head, there's not much more we thought could be done. Oh, and even off-screen she's provided serve after serve, including overlined lips and even the hairstyle of the summer: baby braids. How, just HOW could anything top what has already been pulled off so far?

Well, with the below look, her hair may have just done just that.

As shown in the Instagram post by industry stylist Anna Katsanis, Millie is rocking a sleek middle-part ponytail with wavy crimped extensions flowing at the back of her head. Scroll to the second image to see a side profile view of the 'do.

Just like the mullet, this is a look that is making a comeback from its '80s and '90s heyday. Don't believe me? See Gigi Hadid, Khloe Kardashian and even Jessica Simpson all sport similar styles.

Celebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager was the genius behind the look and as we can see from her above IG below (see picture two), Bridget has wrapped the extension piece around the base of the ponytail to blend the hair:

Thankfully for us curious cats, she shared that the hair used was Luxy Hair Extensions. You're welcome, folks.

Hair aside, can we also just take a mo' to appreciate how adorbs Millie and Noah Schnapp are?! #Friendshipgoals or what?

BRB, off to go and weep at said cuteness.
