Less than a week ago, Kim Kardashian took us 'into the blue' with an Instagram post that got us reminiscing on our year 10 Science lessons. Ahhh those were the good ol' days. And no, she wasn't sporting a white lab coat and goggles. Instead, she wore a classic piecey updo hairstyle, which is just as nostalgic. Now, on the morning of the 6th July, she's only gone and worn the look again – but on one of the biggest stages in the world: the Balenciaga Couture Fashion Week runway in Paris.
In an Instagram post by the reality star's longtime hairstylist, Chris Appleton, we can see Kim stroll along the catwalk ever so elegantly wearing an all-black latex-looking dress. Though, whilst the floor-length satin gown is a statement in itself, what we cannot take our eyes off of is her hair.
As we can see, Kim is still sporting her now trademark platinum blonde locks that she first debuted at the 2022 Met Gala but this time, with a visible dark brunette root. However, colour aside, what makes this hair look so nostalgic is those front pieces of face-framing gelled strands. There is not a single hair out of place. The rest of her locks has been slicked back into a middle-parted bun and she looks so chic.
Here is another angle of Kim's look when arriving to the Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall Winter 2022/2023 show:
Does anyone else remember rocking this type of hairstyle circa 2006? It's giving British school teen 101, me thinks. Who'd of thought it would make such a comeback, ey?
Oh, and if you rewatch the video, you may spot a proud momager (aka the Kris Jenner) cheering her on in the background. So cute! And no, you did not just get 'Krissed' – I promise.
