When it comes to the ebb and flow process, it rings especially true for Jennifer Lopez's hair. Baaaasically, what I mean in simple terms is that the colour of J-Lo's locks are something that continues to change in a regular and repeated way. Yet, she still manages to look so different and shock us each time – in the best way possible, ofc.

Whether the actress-meets-singer-turned-business head is trying out hair contouring, highlighting tricks or even dipping her toes into the dark brunette territory, she always (and I don't mean this lightly) looks incred. And today's look is no exception, coming to us in the form of a 'money-piece' caramel highlights look that is summer hair goals on goals on goals.

Jen's go-to celebrity makeup artist, Mary Phillips, whose clientele also includes Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Addison Rae, shared a picture of the pop star's said summer hair look to her Instagram feed.

Now, if you're a J-Lo super fan (like we are here at Cosmo), you may notice that this is a throwback picture from her night performing at the Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala in Los Angeles. However, having said that, the lewk is still such a serve and just as relevant today as it first was a few weeks ago.

For this particular style, Chris Appleton was the genius behind the hair artistry and created a bouncy blowout that shows off her front face-framing pieces of caramel highlights in all their glory. The billowing outward-facing curls hit the light perfectly to reveal the sunkissed look and the colour is so natural on her brunette head of hair that it's almost as if it has been lightened by the sun naturally.

This combination of colour and style is certainly what dreams are made of. IDK what to start with first – a hair dyeing or hairstyling appointment. Perhaps both in one go wouldn't hurt?
