Whenever I see Hailey Bieber with her hair styled in these effortless waves that look like she woke up like this, I feel a pang of envy.
I cannot, for the life of me, create the same 'cool girl' waves. The only kind of curl that I ever seem to be able to create is the 2011 era Kardashian wave and to quote that TikTok sound, "it's not the vibe".
Thankfully, Hailey's hairstylist Irinel de León shared a video on her Instagram page of how she creates Hailey's beach waves and it's so easy I actually think I'll be able to do it.
In the video, Irinel recreates a half up look she did on Hailey back in April and the way she curls is a completely different technique than I have ever tried.
Instead of a tong, Irinel uses a straighter, specially the Dyson Corrale and rather than twisting her hair around the barrel, she simply flips the straightener up and down as she works her way down the hair.
The result is some gorgeous texture which you'd like to think you could achieve by sleeping with your hair braided, but never quite do.
Not to be dramatic, but I genuinely this will change my life. Well my hairstyling life at least.

Now, if I Irinel could just teach me how to Kourtney Kardashian's cute updos, I'll be set for life.
