Bar her incredible acting, singing and newly-found presenting skills (what a multihyphenate!), just like Nicole Scherzinger, Vanessa Hudgens is known for her long dark wavy tresses. Now that you I mention it, the two could be related, no?
I digress, but basically Vanessa is known for her signature hair and so, she looks unrecognisable when she recently decided to sport a new style. Oh, we do love a Monday morning hair transformation here at Cosmo.
For last night's 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which she hosted, the actor wore not one, not two, not three... sorry, I'll get to the point... but seven, yes SEVEN, different looks. Of course, to complete these different outfit changes, Vanessa switched up her hair a number of times as well. Take a look at a couple of them below.
The big bouncy blowout:
The Ariana Grande trademark pony:
Now, as much as we do love both her bouncy blowout and Ariana Grande-esque sky-high pony hairstyles, our favourite look of the night (and arguably, the most dramatic) has to be the bright red bob and micro-fringe she wore last.
Everyone's clicking on...
Unfortunately, much to our collective disappointment, this is certainly a wig (boo!). However, we do understand that it may have been a bit hectic backstage attempting to dye her hair between each award...
But, even though this isn't her real hair, we do think that she absolutely rocks the cut and colour. Having said that, if you're a 'Nessa stan like us, you'll know that she is partial to wearing a wig or two. Remember her 2013 neon pink hair for Electric Run 2013? Too niche? I think not. Or perhaps her The Princess Switch: Switched character Lady Fiona's platinum blonde locks? Both are just as iconic as her recent 'do.
We just hope that Vanessa loves the red look enough to make it a permanent reality... one can only dream!
