If you haven't spent your day drooling over Monday night's Met Gala red carpet, then quite frankly we are clearly very different people.

From Kim Kardashian's bleached hair, to Kendall Jenner's bleached brows, there is much to talk about and we want to take a minute to appreciate Simone Ashley.

The Bridgerton star successfully nailed her first Met Ball appearance, wearing a two-piece Moschino skirt and cropped bodice.

Of course we love the fashion but we're always more into the makeup and boy did Alex Babsky deliver.

Alex is a makeup artist and he was the man responsible for Simone's beautiful face last night.

Before we get to the makeup breakdown, a moment of appreciation for Simone's hair, which was styled into a sleek low ponytail by talented hairstylist Peter Lux.

For her breathtaking look, Alex used a full face of Pat McGrath including the Sublime Perfection Foundation which gave her such a flawless finish.

If you haven't tried it, it's a great foundation if you want medium coverage without the cake as it's super lightweight but buildable.

Plus, as you would expect with Pat the shade range covers everyone and Alex revealed that Simone wears 'Medium Deep 24'.
