Earlier this month JoJo Siwa pulled an iconic move and chopped off her signature ponytail.
We're not just talking about a little trim, or a skimming the shoulders long bob. No. JoJo cut it all off and continuing her journey of being more true to herself, went for a pixie cut.
Naturally we were obsessed and as anyone who has done a big chop will know, short hair = experimentation city.
Let's be clear, short hair isn't any less work. In fact it can actually be more work as you tend to put more effort into styling it. But, short hair comes with a freedom that long hair just can't compete with.
Since cutting her hair, JoJo has been seen wearing a super curly style, which has lead people to believe she got a perm, as JoJo explained in a recent TikTok video.
"Everyone thought I got a perm, but no, I just curl it," she explained, whilst delivering an in depth tutorial on how to recreate her look.
While other celebrities gatekeep their glam secrets, JoJo did not hold back and showed the whole process from wet to dry and it look like the secret is a lot of texture spray and a thin curling wand.
JoJo starts by combing some oil through her wet hair, followed by a generous spritzing of sea salt spray.
She then dries it and uses "a really tiny curling iron to get super cute tight curls". To finish she blasts it with some more texture spray and finally some hairspray "to set it".
