Isn’t it funny how trends come back around? At the moment, we seem to be re-living all the major looks of the 90s (hello space buns, butterfly clips and flipped-out hairstyles), the 80s (mullets and Dirty Dancing-inspired curls, in particular) and, of course, the 70s – because curtain bangs are everywhere right now.
It seems Megan Thee Stallion has also jumped on the 70s train with one of the(e?) most glamorous blowouts we’ve ever seen. The rapper posted a series of pics on Instagram, in which she’s sporting big bouncy curls and, you guessed it, sweeping curtain bangs.
Adding to the 70s vibes, Megan finished the look with a middle parting, huge hoop earrings and a vintage-looking coat. Can we also take a moment for that monochrome outfit and criss-cross top? It really is Megan’s world and we’re just living in it.
For makeup, she has fresh, highlighted skin, dramatic lashes and lighter eyeshadow on the inner corners to make her eyes pop. She also wore nude glossy lips with a slightly darker brown lip liner. Basically she looks uhhhh-maz-ing and is giving us all the beauty inspo for summer.
Naturally, fans went crazy for the look and Megan's post currently has over 1.1 million likes (and counting). It was inundated with comments, too, but it was Zendaya’s that captured all of our thoughts and feelings with a single emoji: “😍”.
