Dearest reader, Miss Edwina Sharma may be new to this ‘Ton, but do not let her naïveté fool you. It is often those who are unknown that garner the most intrigue. Plus, this well-established author (if I do say so myself) is told that she boasts skills on the piano and at Greek – a coveted catch to be sure.
And let me tell you, her real-life counterpart from Netflix’s hit show Bridgerton, Charithra Chandran, is just as much a beautiful talent as her on-screen character.
Yours truly, Lady Cosmo…
In a recent interview for Vogue’s YouTube series, Beauty Secrets, the season two star not only shared both her foolproof skincare and night-out beauty routines, but also some of the beauty pearls of wisdom she received on set.
The standout moment in the video tutorial has to be when Charithra shared the “magic” product used on-set to help her look awake for 4am filming times. I don’t know about you, but I’m already sold *adds to online shopping cart*.
“We’d have to get up at like 4am, makeup chair by 4:35 – and you know, they’d be really long hours, so, we needed all the help we could get," she explains.
Charithra then reveals that the secret behind her youthful, awakened glow on-set is the Wishful Eye Lift & Snatch Instant Sculpting Mask, which is only £4, may I add!
“My family is from India and generally, the skincare that we use back home is all-natural. And […] it’ll be like the same product for many purposes […] that’s kind of my main beauty secret. I love a good multipurpose tool,” the Brit shares.
Just like I said about Mrs Bieber, we, too, love a good multi-hyphenate beauty product, Charithra. Aaaand although we can’t relate to the Bridgerton set life of early wake-up calls, I'm sure many of us feel you on the long working hours… four-day working week, anyone? We can dream. Until then, maybe we need to take a leaf out of Charithra’s book and invest in some brightening eye patches.
