Dearest readers and esteemed members of the 'Ton, it would seem that celebrations are in order as a new trailer for Bridgerton season two dropped today. You must attend. After all, it is not in your best interest to disobey. Yours Truly, Lady Cosmo.

If you have no idea what I’m on about, where on Earth have you been? Season 2 of everyone’s favourite period drama, Bridgerton, is just around the corner! Yep, T-minus 16 days until it drops on Netflix.

And just when we thought we’d have to wait another few weeks to see the incredible hair and makeup looks of the show, Nicola Coughlan, aka Penelope Bridgerton, only went and shared a Tinkerbell-inspired glam on Instagram. Yes, that’s right, ✨ Tinkerbell-inspired ✨.

The Derry Girls star took to France this week to attend Miu Miu’s runway show for Paris Fashion Week. Whilst there, she debuted a new look that is worlds apart from her character, Pen.

On screen, the actor’s hair is typically styled in a half-up bouffant with 1800s-esque ringlets but in the recent snaps, Nicola’s red hair has been taken a few shades lighter. Celebrity hairstylist Halley Brisker styled it pin-straight in a half-up braided bun and shoulder-length bob, complete with a hairband. Oh, and she has an eyebrow-skimming thick, full fringe. Is this not the dreamiest look ever?

As for her makeup, Nicola is sporting a lilac cut crease, bold winged liner and glossy peach lipstick. Luckily for us, her makeup artist, Neil Young, shared all the products he used to create the look in a lengthy Instagram post.
