It almost feels like we’ve gone back in time. Just a couple of weeks ago, Katy perry stepped onto the red carpet for The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures with dark brunette hair.
After years as a platinum and sandy blonde, which included an adorable Moana-inspired moment, the singer went back to her (literal) roots and it made us all feel super nostalgic.
Now, Katy is turning back the hands of time even further with her latest haircut.
New Instagram pictures show her debuting one of the most popular haircuts of all time: a bob. But *in M&S lady advert voice* this isn’t just any old bob...
Katy’s new look reminds us of Victoria Beckham’s iconic Posh Spice bob haircut. Her hair skims her shoulders and is cut into one blunt length all over, without any choppy bits. Her hairstylist Jesus Guerrero also styled it super straight and sleek.
We’re sure VB would totally approve of this look.

If that wasn’t already enough of a major beauty moment, Katy showed us the power in a matchy-matchy look. Her manicurist, Diem of @nailsbydiem, painted her long nails with bright cobalt blue nail varnish to match her bobbled dress.
Then, her makeup artist Michael Anthony drew on bright blue eyeliner.
Honestly everything about it just screams 90s beauty and I am so here for it.
