We were all surprised when Kim Kardashian turned up at the 2021 Met Gala covered head to toe in an all-black outfit. The only thing on show was a 75 inch ponytail that whipped around as she climbed those iconic steps.
We were even more shocked when her hairstylist Chris Appleton revealed in an Instagram Q&A that the ponytail cost a staggering $10,000. That’s around £7,000. You know, the equivalent to a good few months of rent.
Now, Kim is back with super long extensions – this time for her upcoming hosting slot on Saturday Night Live, due to air tomorrow [Saturday 9 October].
Chris posted a series of behind-the-scenes images of Kim filming her SNL promo. In the pictures, she has suuuuper long hair once again, which has been styled sleek and straight.

While Chris didn’t give any details on how much these extensions cost, we can imagine it cost a few bucks.

Kim’s appearance on SNL marks her first time hosting the popular show and she’ll be appearing alongside singer Halsey.
It’s also thought that Kim is prepping for her hosting gig with some help from Kanye West, as the pair are thought to be reconciling.
We wonder if he’ll make a surprise appearance?
