Maura Higgins just debuted a brand new full, heavy fringe on her Instagram and it's giving us serious Dakota Johnson vibes.
Like most of you, we've been a little bit obsessed with Maura since she went public with her relationship with dancer Giovanni Pernice (full relationship timeline here FYI).
Maybe it's our Strictly obsession (roll on September), maybe it's the combination of their Irish/Italian heritage, or maybe it's just seeing two incredibly beautiful people together.
Either way this is the coupling we never saw coming, but now never want to end.
We're used to seeing Maura with her luscious brunette hair styled in loose voluminous waves and with her signature middle part, so the debut of her fringe certainly caught us by surprise.
Maura is presenting Glow Up Ireland (the Irish version of the BBC3 makeup show) and for episode 3 she took to Instagram to share her brand new look.

Created by celebrity hairstylist Carl Bembridge, Maura's full eye-skimming fringe was the perfect accessory to her chic "messy" top knot.
However on further inspection we weren't quite sure if her fringe was the real deal, something Carl confirmed in his Instagram post.
The hairstylist shared his trick to making a faux fringe using hair extensions. Carl explained he then trimmed the hair for a feathered, as opposed to blunt effect.
If you've been debating whether to get bangs for a while and you have some spare extensions at home, this could be a great way of seeing if you like the result before you take the plunge.
We'll just have to wait and see if the fringe stays for episode 4.
