Though The Crown has moved beyond Vanessa Kirby's portrayal of HRH Princess Marg (the role's been played by Helena Bonham Carter in later seasons), I'm still flat-out obsessed with her.
And Kirby's performance in tragic feature film Pieces of a Woman has earned her reams of accolades and award nominations - most recently, a BAFTA for leading actress.
...Which meant, of course, we got to enjoy another classy as heck awards beat from Kirby and her dedicated MUA last night.
And, luckily for us, the artist herself (Katey Denno) dropped a written breakdown of the process and products which made up Kirby's traditional, minimal beat for last night's virtual awards ceremony, from mascara to blush and beyond.
Denno (who worked with LancĂ´me for the event) said she "lightly buffed" LancĂ´me's Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation onto Kirby's skin before swirling a "mix of two powder blush â a peach and pink â onto the apples of her cheeks", before adding bronzer under the cheekbones for definition.
For eyes, she used LancĂ´meâs Artliner in 01 Black Satin to create a "lash-hugging" modern liner look, followed by a few coats of the inky black Monsieur Big Mascara.
For brows, Denno used a "potted gel brow pomade paired with a tiny, angled brush" to emulate Kirby's natural brows.
The resulting look is classic, peaches-and-cream loveliness - and i'm obsessed with the length of those lashes...
...Anyone else suddenly desperate to get dressed up?
