Our gal Lili Reinhart knows exactly how this feels. To bring you up to speed, the Riverdale actor had been dating co-star Cole Sprouse since 2018, but the pair broke up earlier in 2020 before the pandemic hit.
That in mind, we're so happy to see she's finally gotten the pampering she deserves, now socially-distanced appointments are taking place.
Matt Rez, Lili's colourist, shared a picture of her gorgeous new look to Instagram a few days ago, featuring beautiful cool-blonde highlights, toned with Redken Shades EQ, a gently acidic semi-permanent gloss, and it goes without saying that, of course, she looks incredible.
It's not a total overhaul for Lili - which is no bad thing of course (completely changing your hair colour amid a breakup is naaaaht the best idea). We've all been there, with regrettable micro-fringes, patchy DIY pastels or spontaneous undercuts, and we aaaaall know how it feels.
...But breaking up those lockdown roots with a sprinkling of less warm blonde is such a cool-girl look, and has added a surge of volume to her hair in a way that's got us feeling the hair envy, big time.
Her fans are in love with this hair transformation, calling the update a work of art - and we'd have to agree.
