We’ve written about sooo many celebrities undergoing dramatic hair transformations during lockdown, that we’ve kind of lost count.
Hair colour switch-ups have been the most popular, with pastel pink reigning supreme. But we’ve also seen some bright two-tone 'dos, and even a Smurf blue dye job, thanks to the very brave Hilary Duff.
Other A-listers have cut fringes (we’re looking at you, Bella Hadid) and even tried their hand at bleaching (not recommended, even if Kaia Gerber did get away with it). Most have just accepted not having their trusted glam squad to hand and let their natural hair texture shine through, with some seriously stunning results (Kylie Jenner kicked off that trend, of course).
But no one has been quite as bold with their quarantine transformation as Miley Cyrus.
Earlier this month, we told you how the singer’s shaggy blonde mullet was chosen to complement the rock-inspired music she was releasing this spring, and not to look like Joe Exotic, as some cruel fans suggested.
Well, Miley obviously didn’t let their comments put her off, because she’s only gone and let her mum upgrade her mullet with a rather dramatic trim...
